REMOVAL - REFITTING ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT

1 - REMOVAL

Remove the style cover (1) .

Disconnect the connector (2) .

Move aside :

• the control unit box (3)

Hold in place the bracket (4) using the spanner [1] .

Unscrew :

• the bolts (5)
• the bolt (6)
• the bolt (7)

Slacken the belt using the spanner [1] .

Remove the ancillary drive belt .

IMPERATIVE : ensure that the rollers turn freely (no play or hard spots) .

2 - REFITTING

Position the belt finishing with the roller (8) .

IMPERATIVE : take care that the belt is correctly located in the grooves of the various pulleys .

Turn the spanner [1] the maximum amount .

Tighten the bolt (6) the maximum amount .

Tighten to the specified torque :

• the bolt (6) to 2.5 ± 0.1 da.Nm
• the bolt (7) to 2.5 ± 0.1 da.Nm
• the bolts (5) to 2.5 ± 0.1 da.Nm
