REMOVAL - REFITTING ANCILLARY DRIVE BELT

1 - TOOLING

[1] FACOM (carré 1/2") type ratchet .

[2] FACOM S.230 (1/2"-3/8") type reduction geared motor .

2 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE STYLE COVER .

Pivot the tensioner roller bracket (1) clockwise until it locks using the ratchet [1] and the reduction geared motor [2] .

Remove the belt .

IMPERATIVE : ensure that the rollers turn freely (no play or hard spots) .

3 - REFITTING

Position the belt :

• start with the crankshaft pulley (2)
• finish with the tensioner roller (3)

Release the tensioner roller bracket (1) by pivoting it anti-clockwise using the ratchet [1] and the reduction geared motor [2] .

IMPERATIVE : take care that the belt is correctly located in the grooves of the various pulleys .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
