DRAINING FUEL TANK

1 - TOOLS REQUIRED

[1] Fuel draining unit .

[2] Pipe for draining the fuel tank, fitted with a green end piece (A) (supplied with the equipment [1]) .

[2] Connection for draining fuel tank, with a black end (A) (supplied with the equipment [1]) .

[3] Pipe with adapter for valve SHRADER (-).0141-T1 .

2 - DRAINING

Lower the fuel pressure by connecting the end of the tool [1] to the valve SHRADER; catch the fuel in a receptacle .

Disconnect the click-on supply pipe and connect pipe [2] in its place .

Connect the pipe [2] to the draining equipment, by positioning the vapour collection device and sealing the nozzle (1) .

Disconnect the double relay (2) .

Connect terminals 8 and 5 of connector (3) using a fly wire with 2.8 mm male terminals .

Connect terminals 8 and 4 of connector (3) using a fly wire with 2.8 mm male terminals .

Connect terminals 8 and 6 of connector (3) using a fly wire with 2.8 mm male terminals .

The output from the vehicle's fuel pump is into the pumping equipment via the equipment's pump .

When the operation is complete :

• reconnect the double relay
• reconnect the engine fuel supply pipe

3 - REFILLING

Use the equipment [1] in the usual filling direction .
