REMOVAL - REFITTING INLET MANIFOLD

1 - REMOVAL

NOTE : this operation provides access to the 4th lifting eye .

remove the style cover .

Disconnect :

• temperature sensor connector (1) to air filter
• crankcase breather hose (to air filter)

Remove air filter and its outlet connector (2) .

Disconnect :

• throttle housing connector (3)
• the canister pipe (4)
• crankcase breather hose (5)
• braking assistance pipe (6)

Unclip fastener (7) from engine harness .

Unclip sheathing (8) from engine harness at (A) and (B) .

Move aside the engine harness and its sheathing .

Remove the 7 bolts (9) .

Disconnect connector (10) of inlet pressure sensor .

Remove inlet manifold and throttle housing assembly by sliding it on its axes (11) in the direction of the arrows .

Plug the air inlet openings .

2 - REFITTING

Unplug air intake orifices .

Engage inlet manifold on its axes .

Position intake manifold and throttle housing .

Finger tighten then progressively tighten the securing bolts in the order shown :

• pre-tighten : 0,4 da.Nm
• tightening torque: 0,8 da.Nm
• check the tightening : 0,8 da.Nm

replace the style cover .

Continue the fitting operations in the reverse order to removal .
