REMOVAL - REFITTING EXHAUST MANIFOLD

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Load balancer, Approved items of equipment of the NAUDER 1805 type .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the bonnet in the parking position .

Disconnect :

• the battery
• the oxygen sensor connector (1)

Remove catalytic converter .

Slacken the bolts (2) and (3) .

Remove the torque reaction link (4) .

Remove the bolts (5) .

Remove the heat shield (6) .

Remove the heat shield (7) .

Fit the tool [1] .

Move aside :

• the fuel connection (8)
• the earth cable (9)

Remove the torque reaction link (10) .

NOTE : retrieve the yoke (11) .

Remove the nut (12) .

Remove the 3 bolts (13) .

Remove the engine mounting (14) .

Lower the power unit and pivot it forward .

Remove exhaust manifold from the top .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Fit :

• the engine mounting (14)
• the 3 bolts (13) : tightening torque 6,1 da.Nm
• the nut (12) : tightening torque 4,5 da.Nm
• the torque reaction link (10)
• the yoke (11)

Tighten :

• the bolt (15) to 4,5 da.Nm
• the bolt (16) to 4,5 da.Nm

The nuts (5) (17) to 3,5 da.Nm .

Refit the torque reaction link (4) .

Tighten :

• the bolt (2) to 8,5 da.Nm
• the bolt (3) to 4,5 da.Nm
