REMOVAL - REFITTING ADDITIVE INJECTOR

IMPERATIVE : before carrying out any work, put on goggles and gloves .

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] plug for click-on union diameter 10 mm .

[2] click-on union diameter 8 mm .

[3] plug for click-on union diameter 8 mm .

[4] Injector ring removal key (-).1606 .

2 - REMOVAL

Place the vehicle on a lift .

Remove the fuel tank .

Disconnect :

• the connector (1)
• the hoses (2) and (3)

IMPERATIVE : fit the plugs [1], [2], [3] on the unions (2), (3) immediately to prevent contamination of the additive circuit .

Remove :

• the bush (4) using the tool [4]

Remove the injector (5) and the seal (6) .

3 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

IMPERATIVE : always replace the seal (6) .

Tighten the ring (4) to 3.5 dan.m .
