REMOVAL - REFITTING HEAT EXCHANGER

1 - REMOVAL

Disconnect :

• the battery
• the connector of the engine ecu

Remove :

• the air cleaner housing
• the sleeve
• the battery
• the battery container
• the front left-hand wheel

Clamp the hoses (1) - (2) ; USING THE TOOL [29] .

Remove :

• the bolt (3)
• the seal (4)
• THE CLIPS (8) OF THE HOSES (1) - (2) USING THE TOOL [25]
• the intercooler (5)

Recover the seals (6), (7) under the heat exchanger .

NOTE : IF THE HEAT EXCHANGER IS NOT FITTED AGAIN IMMEDIATELY, POSITION THE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT [17] ON THE REAR COVER AND ON THE HEAT EXCHANGER .

2 - REFITTING

Replace :

• the seals (6), (7)
• the seal washer (4)

Fit :

• the intercooler (5)
• tighten the bolt (3) to 5 da.Nm
• THE CLIPS (8) OF THE HOSES (1) - (2) USING THE TOOL [25]
• the front left-hand wheel
• the battery container
• the battery
• the sleeve
• the air cleaner housing

Reconnect :

• the connector of the engine ecu
• the battery

Carry out filling and bleeding of the coolant circuit and top up the level .
