REMOVAL - REFITTING AUTOMATIC GEARBOX INPUT SPEED SENSOR (AL4)

1 - REMOVAL

NOTE : do not drain the gearbox .

Disconnect the battery .

Remove :

• the ECU cover
• the connector of the engine ecu
• the air cleaner housing
• the air hose
• the battery
• the battery container

Remove the 2 bolts (1) (Mounting of the modular connector on the gearbox) .

Disconnect the modular connector (2) .

Extract the 3-way connector (4) from the modular connector (2) .

NOTE : gearbox input speed sensor .

Remove :

• the front left-hand wheel
• the sensor harness (5)
• the bolt (6)
• gearbox input speed sensor (5)

2 - REFITTING

Replace the sensor o ring (5) .

Fit :

• gearbox input speed sensor (5)
• the bolt (6) (tightening torque 1 da.Nm)
• the sensor harness (5)
• the yellow 3-way connector (4) in the modular connector (2)
• the 2 bolts (1) (tightening torque 1 da.Nm)

Reconnect the modular connector (2) .

Fit :

• the front left-hand wheel
• the battery container
• the battery
• the air cleaner housing
• the air hose
• the connector of the engine ecu
• the ECU cover

Connect the battery .
