REMOVAL - REFITTING HEAT EXCHANGER FLOW CONTROL SOLENOID

1 - REMOVAL

NOTE : do not drain the gearbox .

Disconnect the battery .

Remove :

• the ECU cover
• the connector of the engine ecu
• the battery
• the battery container
• the air cleaner housing
• the air hose

Remove the 2 bolts (1) (Mounting of the modular connector on the gearbox) .

Disconnect the modular connector (2) .

Extract the blue 3-way connector (3) from the modular connector (2) .

Remove :

• the front left-hand wheel
• the solenoid valve harness that controls the exchanger (4) output
• the 2 bolts (5)
• heat exchanger flow control solenoid (4)

2 - REFITTING

Replace the two o rings on the solenoid valve that controls the exchanger (4) output .

Remove :

• heat exchanger flow control solenoid (4)
• the 2 bolts (5) : tightening torque 1 da.Nm
• the solenoid valve harness that controls the exchanger (4) output
• the blue 3-way connector (3) in the modular connector (2)
• the 2 bolts (1) : tightening torque 1 da.Nm

Reconnect the modular connector (2) .

Fit :

• the front left-hand wheel
• the battery container
• the battery
• the air cleaner housing
• the air hose
• the connector of the engine ecu
• the ECU cover

Connect the battery .
