REMOVAL - REFITTING AUTOMATIC GEARBOX FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR AUTOADAPTIVE (AL4)

1 - REMOVAL

REMOVE THE HYDRAULIC BLOCK .

NOTE : to replace the fluid temperature sensor (1), the entire hydraulic block electrical harness assembly must be replaced .

Remove the 12-way yellow connector from the modular connector (3) .

Remove the clip (4) .

Remove the harness assembly on the hydraulic block side .

2 - REFITTING

When refitting the harness, ensure that it is routed correctly and positioned correctly in the sheaths to prevent crushing on refitting of the hydraulic block .

Fit :

ADJUST THE INTERNAL SELECTOR LEVER .

3 - INTERNAL SELECTOR LEVER ADJUSTMENT

IMPERATIVE : make this adjustment each time work is carried out on the hydraulic block on the the internal selector lever .

The adjustment is made with the hydraulic block (10) removed and with the cable control disconnected .

Place the lever (8) at position 2 and keep it in the mechanical stop position during the operation .

NOTE : to obtain the position 2 of the lever (8), place the lever in a stop position towards the front of the vehicle .

Unscrew the flanged bolt (9) .

Place the roller A of the blade (7) in the notch position 2 of the notched section (6) .

Remove the bolt (10) .

Place the tool [13] so that it is supported across the width of the blade (7) at bolt (10) .

Lock the assembly using the knob of the adjusting screw [1] .

Tighten the bolt (9) to 0,9 da.Nm .

Remove the tools [12] - [13] .

Refit the bolt (10) : Tightening torque 0,75 da.Nm .

IMPERATIVE : ensure that the gear selector lever operates correctly in all positions; there must not be any extra lever travel when it is in position 2 + ADJUST THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH .
