2 - REPLACEMENT OF THE BEARING

Uncouple the joint at the gearbox end (A) .

Using a press and the tool [8], remove the stop ring (2) and the bearing (3) simultaneously .

Other procedure :

Refit a new bearing and stop ring simultaneously using the tool [6] .

Fit a new O-ring .

Clean and grease the splines .

Special feature : Automatic gearbox .

Extract the sleeve (1) using the tools [12] and [8] .

Refit the sleeve using the tool [5a] or [5b] :
