REPLACEMENT REAR HORIZONTAL ARM FLEXIBLE MOUNTING

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Extraction half-shells (-).0536-K .

[2] Extraction counterbore (-).0536-H .

[3] Fitting counterbore (-).0536-W .

[4] Fitting-extraction end piece (-).0536-J .

[5] Threaded pin (-).0536-L .

[6] Nut (12 X 1.75) .

2 - REMOVAL

Remove the rear horizontal arm .

DAM FROM : 849589

To the horizontal arm fit the extractor comprising the following tools :

• the extraction support [4]
• the threaded pin [5] with its nut
• the nut [6]

Tighten the nut [6] until there is contact with the flexible mount .

Detach the flexible mount (1) by unscrewing the nut of the threaded shaft .

Slightly unscrew the nut [6] .

To the horizontal arm fit the extractor comprising the following tools :

• the extraction support [4]
• the threaded pin [5] with its nut

Fit onto the threaded shaft [5] :

• the extraction half-shells [1]
• the extraction counterbore [2]

Extract the flexible mounting by slackening the nut on the threaded pin .

Carry out the same operation on the right hand side .

3 - REFITTING

Use a new flexible mounting .

Fit the following tools to the flexible mounting and the rear horizontal arm :

• the threaded pin [5] with its nut
• the fitting counterbore [3]
• the fitting support [4]

Tighten the assembly until the flexible mounting shoulder stops against the rear horizontal arm .

Refit the rear horizontal arm .
