REMOVAL - REFITTING FUEL TANK

1 - REMOVAL

DRAIN THE TANK .

Remove :

• the exhaust assembly (1)

IMPERATIVE : remove the exhaust pipe to avoid damaging the flexible hose; this cannot withstand the torsion, traction or bending tensions caused by the removal of one of the power train supports .

Remove :

• the heat shield (2)

Disconnect the parking brake cable (3) .

REMOVE THE ADDITIVE RESERVOIR (4) .

Disconnect the pipes (5) under the body .

Remove :

• the two under-sills (6)

Lower the reservoir using a component jack .

Disconnect the connector (7) .

Remove the tank .

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .
