CHANGE IN ROUTING OF THE FUEL FILLER CAP OPENING CONTROL CABLE

From build code 8900XX : The route of the fuel filler cap control cable is modified at the front seat crossmember (Offset of 15 mm towards the inside of the vehicle) .

This modification requires the control cable to be clamped on the inside side member .

1 - EARLIER ASSEMBLY

(1) Side air bag module .

(2) Fuel filler cap opening control cable .

2 - LATER ASSEMBLY

(1) Side air bag module .

(2) Fuel filler cap opening control cable .

(3) Clip .

(4) Inner sill .

(5) Welded screw (M6 X 30) .

Clamp the control cable (2) on the welded screw (5) using the clip (3) to avoid all contact with the side air bag module (1) .

3 - INTERCHANGEABILITY

The bodies will be supplied by the replacement parts department in this new configuration .
