REPLACEMENT THE REAR DOOR GLASS MOTOR

NOTE : when replacing the window mechanism, it is necessary to add a harness interface to reconnect the new motor .

1 - REMOVAL

Lower the glass to two thirds of its travel .

Remove :

• the door trim panel
• the sealing sheet
• remove the window clip
• raise the window and retain it in the high position with adhesive tape

Remove :

• the fasteners (1)
• the electrical connection (2)
• the window mechanism (3) and remove it through the openings in the inner panel

2 - REFITTING

Proceed in the reverse order to removal .

Insert the interface harness (4) to reconnect the window motor; immobilise the window with its clip (5) .

IMPERATIVE : fit new seals, which must be assembled without folds and tears, absolute cleanness of the contact face on the vehicle is necessary, run a wheel over the parts of the flange to be bonded; these recommendations are essential to prevent possible entry of water, dust or noise .

Check the operation of the electrical equipment .
