SETTING UP TOOLS

1 - DIAG 2000

Enables :

• identification
• fault reading
• clearing the faults
• configuration
• following the diagnostics flow charts for each fault or each customer complaint (symptom)

The harness tester permits :

• measurements on the electrical circuits (automatic, semi-automatic, manual)
• simulation of component operation

These tests are linked to the diagnostics flow charts but can also be carried out independently .

Connection is to :

• the central socket 16V.NR

For electrical checks use adapter(s) (-).1220 .

2 - PEUGEOT ELECTRICAL BREAK-OUT BOX (BIP 722)

Enables :

• measurements on electrical circuits
• simulation of component operation

For electrical checks use adapter(s) (-).1220 .

3 - CHECKING TOOL

[3] Pre-tensioner/airbag checking tool (-).1325 .

[4] Pre-tensioner/airbag checking tool (-).1345-E .

[5] Pre-tensioner/airbag checking tool (-).1340 .

[6] Pre-tensioner/airbag checking tool (-).1345-B .

The tools [3]-[4] and [5]-[6] have the same resistance as the pre-tensioner/airbag units .

The tools [3]-[4] and [5]-[6] allow :

• simpler fault finding
• checking the operation of the system after any work

Connections :

• DEACTIVATE THE CENTRALISED AIRBAG(S) AND SEAT BELTS SYSTEM
• disconnect the pre-tensioning component or its intermediate harness
• connect the checking tool [3]-[4] or [5]-[6]
• ACTIVATE THE CENTRALISED AIRBAG(S) AND SEAT BELTS SYSTEM
