GENERAL REPAIR TIME SCHEDULE PRESENTATION

The operation times shown in this schedule are invoicing times expressed in hours and hundredths of an hour ; These times correspond to operations carried out in accordance with the requirements of the technical documentation, on vehicles normally maintained by the peugeot dealerships PEUGEOT, using original replacement parts .

Any operation name finishing with the letter A comprises all the operations of removal/refitting, cleaning, replacement etc. and the adjustments necessary for these operations to be carried out on a standard production vehicle .

For bodywork operations, these are incorporated in removal/refitting of detachable components ; This definition corresponds to all threaded, clipped or bonded parts, the removal of which is essential for the bodywork operation to be carried out ; The overall time can be broken down into 4 tasks, identified by the letters M -T - S - E allowing any invoicing to be carried out at different labour rates .

Certain work is given a designation without a repair schedule time (e.g. straightening); invoicing is for the time spent, rounded up to the next tenth of an hour .

The road test or bench test time is not included in the operation times, with the exception of regular maintenance .

1 - SETTING UP A REPAIR TIME SCHEDULE OPERATION

constituent processes example

supplement operation concerning additional equipment
the time is added to the time for the principal operation for purposes of invoicing

1,20
01001L - models with power steering
0,60
01001M - models with air conditioning

the time is added to the time for the principal operation for purposes of invoicing
01001N - clutch overhaul
0,30

2 - PROCESSES INCLUDED, ADDITIONS AND SUPPLEMENTS

The overall time for the principal operation is not the sum of the times for the processes included, with additions or supplements carried out separately .

Certain stages of various operations may be common and are counted only once for the purpose of timing .

Example :

These 2 operations have common stages; supply of the vehicle, removal/refitting of wheels, etc. .

Consequently : The time for replacement of the pads, carried out as in addition to the replacement of a brake caliper, is less than the replacement time for brake pads when this operation is carried out on its own, because the common stages already included in the replacement of the caliper are not counted for .

Therefore one cannot add together operation 1 and operation 2, which would give 2,00 h instead of 1,60 h .

3 - TASKS

The various tasks are indicated by a letter followed by a three star letter stating the technical level of the operation :

4 - NUMBERING OF OPERATIONS
