CHECK VALVE TIMING

1 - SPECIAL TOOLS

[1] Flywheel setting rod (-).0132-QY .

[2] Camshaft gear setting rod (-).0132-RZ .

2 - CHECK

Lift and support the front of the vehicle (right side) .

Engage 5th gear .

Remove the timing covers .

Turn the wheel to operate the engine in its normal direction of rotation .

Peg the camshaft pulley with tool [2] .

Peg the flywheel using the rod [1] .

NOTE : if the camshaft cannot be set : restart tensioning operations for fitting the timing belt .

Remove the setting pins [1] - [2] .

Place the gear lever in neutral .

Return the vehicle to its wheels .
