The anti-lock is a system BOSCH 5.3; it is located on the front left chassis leg of the vehicle; the front and rear sensors are fitted so that they cannot move .
6 - FLANGES
The vehicles are fitted with a flange secured to the hubs to protect the rear disc/caliper assembly from splashes of water and dirt .
7 - SUPER-SHORT MASTER CYLINDER
The 23,8 diameter extra-short master cylinder is also fitted on all versions for very cold climates and versions with auto-adaptive gearboxes .
This type of reduced-length master cylinder (88 mm as opposed to 138 mm for a conventional master cylinder) allows the fitting of the following components :
8 - THE EMERGENCY BRAKING ASSISTANCE EVA SYSTEM BOSCH
The emergency braking assistance is a system which, in an emergency, permits switching from normal assistance to extra-assistance by eliminating the reaction force on the brake servo push rod .
Composition of the system :
Special feature of this master cylinder: integration within the primary piston (A) of the emergency braking control .
9 - HANDBRAKE
The handbrake is adjusted under the handbrake central console behind the ashtray .
