Traction Control / ABC:
Active Body Control/ Sensors
Two powerful micro computers control the high
pressure hydraulic system through signals from sensors that constantly indicate the change
in movement of the vehicle's body.
The Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor reports
acceleration and deceleration.
The Lateral Acceleration Sensor detects
transverse or side-to-side movements.
Three Vertical Acceleration Sensors detect lifting
motion and pitch and roll of the body.
A Level Sensor on each wheel detects the
current vehicle level.
A Travel Sensor on each strut detects the
position of the servo cylinder.
